until Fall Term A begins
Training laborers for the harvest is a mission we take seriously here at West Coast Baptist College. The Apostle Paul reminded Timothy in 2 Timothy 3:10, “Thou hast fully known my doctrine, manner of life, purpose, faith, longsuffering, charity, patience.” The mentorship this young preacher received from the aged Apostle was as valuable as the instruction.
For over twenty-five years, West Coast has endeavored to immerse students in an atmosphere of ministry on campus that puts classroom learning to use immediately. Sharing our campus with Lancaster Baptist Church allows students to yoke together with staff members and the church family in reaching people weekly with the Gospel, disciplining those converts, and engaging them in the ministry of the local church to reach our community and beyond for Jesus Christ.
Students who spend one year or four years on the campus of West Coast benefit from an accredited education, hands-on ministry training in the local church, life-long friendships, unforgettable memories, and personal mentoring from godly staff and faculty. The balance of the campus experience prepares our students for life, marriage, and ministry.
While we strongly recommend the on campus experience of college education, we recognize the difficulty of that for some. Health complications, travel restrictions, age, military service, or those in full time ministry, would be just a few of the reasons for someone seeking instruction only. It is for this reason that we are glad to offer courses in our One-Year Bible Program, Bachelor’s, and Master’s Degrees on-line. While the on-line student cannot access the full West Coast Baptist College experience of on-campus life, we are pleased to offer this outstanding content of instruction through our on-line platform.
