James Collard graduated with his BA in Biblical Studies from Maranatha Baptist University in 2012 and his M.Div. from Maranatha Baptist Seminary in 2017. He and his wife, Angela, began attending Arise Baptist Church in the fall of 2017 and joined the pastoral staff in 2020. James oversees a number of ministry areas including Children's Ministry, Youth, and the Aspire Ministry Training program.
In his spare time, James coaches soccer and lacrosse at a private school in Houston. He also enjoys hiking, tennis, playing board games with friends and sampling the various taco options around Houston.
