A Coffee Break

Ladies, do you ever feel roasted, ground, and strained? If so, come take a break from the daily grind! Join us at Lancaster Baptist Church on September 20–22 for the West Coast Baptist Ladies Conference. Your mind will be renewed by the Word of God, your spirit will be strengthened by practical Bible-based teaching geared especially toward the needs of Christian women today, and you will be refreshed through fellowship with other godly ladies.

Conference Speakers

Mrs. Terrie Chappell has served as the pastor's wife at Lancaster Baptist Church for more than 25 years. She leads the ladies' ministries, teaches a fourth-grade girls' Sunday school class, and serves as an instructor at West Coast Baptist College. Mrs. Chappell has authored two books, It's a Wonderful Life and The Choice Is Yours.

Mrs. Penny Gibbs is the wife of Matthew Gibbs, pastor of Foothill Baptist Church in Moreno Valley, California. Over these 20 years in ministry together, Penny has led the women's ministries, taught in the Christian high school, and participated in the church music program. The joy of her life is serving the Lord by helping her husband in ministry and loving her family.

Mrs. April Goetsch grew up in a Christian home in San Diego, California, as the eldest of 9 children. She is a graduate of West Coast Baptist College. She serves with her husband, Pastor John Goetsch, Jr., at Faith Baptist Church in Yuma, Arizona. The Goetsches have four children. Mrs. Goetsch is a talented musician and gifted speaker.

Mrs. Linda Wilkerson's husband, Pastor John Wilkerson, became pastor of the First Baptist Church of Long Beach, California, in 2000. In addition to being a pastor's wife, Linda is a busy wife and mother to their eight children. She serves in the bus, ladies', nursery, and music ministries, and her down-to-earth, biblical teaching makes her a favorite speaker at ladies' meetings.
