God's blessings here have been evident, and His hand of blessing upon our graduates is wonderful to see, as well. God does special things in desert places and quite often, in the Bible, God chose to prepare His servants in the desert. In Lancaster, the high desert of Southern California is bursting forth with the fresh water of God's Word, as God is preparing a new generation of Christian leaders to take the old fashioned truth of God's Word to future generations.

Our commitment to the Word of God and to the local church is firm. The real heart of West Coast Baptist College is found in the growing and dynamic local ministry of Lancaster Baptist Church. At West Coast, you will be instructed by qualified instructors who are active in soulwinning and personal work in one of America's most dynamic, independent Baptist Churches. The church is not only the parent ministry of the college, but also the hands-on training ground for all WCBC students.

As you visit and attend West Coast, you will truly be prepared for a life-time of effective service to Jesus Christ, and you will be challenged to stay true to the first-century pattern of local church ministry from the book of Acts. You will be encouraged to develop a ministry philosophy that includes dynamic preaching, a conservative Christian music philosophy, a high-road of separation and personal standards, a commitment to personal soulwinning, a strong stand on the King James Version of the Bible, and a true heart of servant leadership and Biblical grace!
