WCBC Student Missions

It is always a privilege to see God use mission trips to impact the hearts of students. In January of this year, a missions team of nine West Coast Baptist College students spent two weeks in Mexico. From small rural works to the thriving ministry of Pastor David Cortez, we were able to sing, preach, teach Sunday schools, and witness door to door. It was a special blessing to have Brother Luis Montano with us. He was saved in high school through the soulwinning efforts of Lancaster Baptist Church, and he graduated from West Coast Baptist College in 2003. The Montanos are now on deputation to return to Mexico and plant churches.
"I will always remember the people we met," was the comment of Vicky Koston, a junior from Colorado who is majoring in missions. The rest of the group would agree. To God be the glory, seventeen people were led to Christ by one of the members of our missions team. Whether it was the love of fellow Christians, the souls that accepted Christ, or the millions still to be reached, it is the people that will be forever etched in our hearts
